Developing profiles: reading acceptance while the session is still open

A developing profile changes shape as volume accumulates. Early in the session, the opening range and first hour often set a temporary POC that later migrates. Treat those early landmarks as hypotheses, not fixed levels.

We use three checkpoints: after the opening range forms, near the midday balance (if one appears), and into the final hour. At each checkpoint, note whether value is expanding, contracting, or shifting, and whether new high-volume nodes are stacking or single prints are extending.

The discipline is to update your map on a schedule you chose before the open, not every tick that surprises you. Traders who redraw continuously often abandon a sound initial read for noise. Developing-profile work is about fewer, clearer revisions.
