How the Essentials Workshop is built

Two teaching days, timed drills, and a short follow-up. This page is for traders who want the sequence before they enquire for a seat.

Day sequence

Each day mixes short teaching blocks with unmarked-chart practice. Phones stay away from the charts until the debrief.

  1. Day 1 — Anatomy of a completed profile

POC, value area, high-volume nodes, and single prints. You mark three finished sessions before lunch and three after, with open scoring against the instructor key.

  2. Day 1 afternoon — Edges and thin volume

Value-area edges, low-volume gaps, and unfinished auctions. Context first: what created the thin print, and whether adjacent nodes still hold interest.

  3. Day 2 — Developing profiles

Opening range, midday balance, and late extensions. Checkpoint schedule so you update the map on purpose instead of redrawing every surprise.

  4. Day 2 afternoon — Failed auctions and next-day opens

Probes beyond value that return, acceptance that sticks, and how overnight inventory sits relative to yesterday’s profile. Final timed set under exam conditions.

  5. Follow-up call

Thirty minutes within fourteen days. Bring two live charts from your own markets; we review how you applied the checklist, not how much you made.
